About Carson's Creations
Shannon is a freelance Hair and Make-up artist, currently studying BA (Hons) Make-up and Hair Design at Southampton Solent University. She has experience in the industry including media, film, theatre, fashion and beauty.
Shannon has been a creative since a young age. She found her passion for Make-up and Hair Design in 2013, when she was chosen to be a part of Belfast Fashion Week, helping her gain an insight into fashion, photographic and commercial make-up. In 2014, she personally organised to shadow a local leading photographer from Belfast, Khara Pringle, and gained a greater insight into the world of photography while again observing commercial, fashion and editorial work.
Shannon studied Hair and Make-up artistry in Belfast at the age of 18, where she studied a VTCT in theatrical, special effects, hair and media make-up. This passion drove her to study further in the South of England where she now has the unique mix of skill development, production experience and industry placements enabling her to develop her skills in to a tangible direction.
During her university studies, Shannon has worked as a Make-up and Hair artist in time constraint environments, collaborating with other creatives, one being working with one of the leading hairstylists brand Aussie in summer 2017 - where she was chosen to be a hairtylist at Electric Picnic's Festival in Dublin. These skills where again put in to place working as a Make-up and Hair artist on the film Black Russian (2017) working with directors, photographers, stylists and creative directors to bring her designs to life.
Shannon is available for private bookings in the South of England and Belfast for TV, film, theatre, fashion and beauty, including bridal.
